Children’s Ministry

At First Baptist Church of York, we believe children are an important part of God’s family. Our Children’s Ministry is designed to help kids know Jesus, grow in faith, and have fun while learning God’s Word.

Sunday <i><span style="color:var(--primary-color-bg)">School &amp; Classes</span></i>

Sunday School & Classes

Time: 9:30 a.m.
Children join age-appropriate classes for Bible lessons, prayer, and fellowship:

  • Toddlers & Preschool (Ages 2–5) – Introduction to God’s love through stories, songs, and activities.
  • Elementary (Grades 2–5) – Engaging lessons that help kids apply Scripture to everyday life.

Children’s Worship Experience

During the main Sunday service, children are invited to join the opening worship and children’s message before heading to their Bible lessons.

  • Nursery (Ages 3 & under): Safe, loving care while parents attend service.
  • Bible Lessons: Interactive teaching that makes God’s Word come alive.

Special Events & Programs

We offer seasonal activities, Vacation Bible School, and family-friendly events that encourage children to grow spiritually and build friendships.
